- Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor - Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery
Description
The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Department of Surgery in the School of Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana is seeking a BE/BC (or equivalent) pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon for an academic faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor; academic rank and track will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and stature in the field. Responsibilities include clinical care, research, and teaching in cardiothoracic surgery. Clinical activities will be centered at Manning Family Children’s, a full service, regional facility. There are leadership opportunities within the department and within the clinical partner hospital administration for candidates with leadership and management experience.
Required Education: MD or equivalent
Certifications or Licenses Required: BE/BC (or equivalent) in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery as well as Congenital Cardiac Surgery; Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana before date of hire
