Lankenau Medical Center is seeking an experienced and passionate OB/GYN Faculty Member to join our esteemed residency program. With a cohort of 16 residents, and over 25 faculty members, this role offers a unique opportunity to blend clinical practice with resident education, shaping the future of obstetrics and gynecology.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Practice (0.7 FTE):
Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal, delivery, postpartum care, and gynecologic surgeries.
Participate in labor and delivery coverage, including on-call responsibilities.
Conduct outpatient consultations and follow-up visits.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Educational Duties (0.3 FTE):
Serve as a preceptor for residents, offering hands-on training and mentorship in clinical and surgical settings.
Participate in the development and implementation of the residency curriculum in compliance with ACGME standards.
Conduct educational sessions, including lectures, case discussions, and simulation training.
Evaluate resident performance and provide constructive feedback.
Engage in scholarly activities such as research, publications, and conference presentations.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Valid state medical license or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania.
Strong clinical skills and experience in both obstetrics and gynecology.
A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Minimum two years of experience
